Esports and community
MSU Esports became a big part of my college experience. I served as Event Director from August 2024 through May 2026 and played on its collegiate Rainbow Six Siege team.

In spring 2025, our team won the NECC Division II national championship. Alumnus magazine profiled the wider MSU Esports program later that year, and teammate Mason Marchionda and I joined Thunder & Lightning to talk about the championship and how the team came together.

Beyond coursework
As a student ambassador for MSU’s Department of Computer Science and Engineering, I regularly gave tours and helped prospective students learn about the department and their options within it.
I also briefly assisted with a quantum computing research project exploring quantum fingerprinting for cloud devices.
Away from the keyboard
I play piano and guitar and contribute to open-source projects such as Project Sunrise. Working on Sunrise gave me a chance to use reverse-engineering skills I developed through my coursework.
When I’m not working on a project or playing an instrument, I’m usually spending time with friends and family or playing Destiny 2. Rainbow Six Siege remains an on-and-off love-hate relationship.
